The 2D character design project for the Filio brand aimed to create a smart, relatable character that would represent the brand and its mission in the construction industry in California. What did we do for this client?
For the 2D character design project for the Filio brand, our team was tasked with creating a relatable and visually appealing character that would represent the brand’s smart tool in the construction industry. The project started with research and ideation stages to determine the character’s appearance and personality, followed by sketching and digital illustration to create the final design.
However, the client’s needs changed during the project, and they required a character who could explain the features of their services in motion graphics. To meet this need, we proposed creating a character able to explain and be present in different spaces. Our team designed a new character with high flexibility that allowed users to clarify and increase the catchiness of the content.
The completed design was presented to the client, who was pleased with the final product. The character was used across the brand’s marketing materials, including the website, social media, and visual design portfolio, to increase brand recognition and engage with the target audience.

In the Filio 2D character design ideation stage, research was conducted to determine the brand’s target audience and the character’s desired appearance, personality, and versatility. Brainstorming sessions were held to generate design ideas and potential solutions.
After the ideation stage, we sketched different concepts for the character’s appearance and personality. The sketches were rough and quickly done, allowing us to explore various ideas and narrow down our options for the final design.
During the production stage of the Filio 2D character design project, the finalized design was transformed into a digital format using vector-based software. The design was refined and optimized for different sizes and formats to ensure the high-quality reproduction of various marketing materials.
The final design was presented to the client in the presentation stage for the Filio 2D character design. The character’s personality and appearance were discussed, and any necessary revisions were made. The final design was approved and used across various marketing materials to increase brand recognition and engagement.
